Neurotransmitter & Nutritional Testing

"I have always moleculessuspected that when we finally understand neurotransmitters and their dynamic relationship to the pathways in the brain, to the EEG, and to the health or imbalance of the brain, we will have discovered the key to the remediation of many physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual problems." - A. Martin Wuttke
At NeuroTherapy Centers, we have gathered together many pieces of the puzzle thus far. The whole picture is becoming more clear as we substantiate our methods with our clients. So far our methods are yielding significant results. The challenging clients are those who have severely disturbed their neurotransmitters through prescription medication, stress, trauma and/or drug abuse. However, even with these clients we are seeing significant improvement.
We 'are' our neurotransmitters - there are many neurotransmitters but it is primarily these four molecules: dopamine, acetylcholine, GABA, and serotonin, that are the substrate chemicals of our motivation, our moods, all our likes and dislikes, our close personal relationships, our attitudes, our success or our failure, our energy levels, our immunity, our longevity, our behavior patterns, and ultimately our spiritual inclinations.
The EEG and the neurotransmitters have an intimate relationship - and essentially you cannot separate the two. By themselves, as molecular compounds, the neurotransmitters are inert substance. It is the electrical activity of the brain (the EEG) that provides the spark that activates the potentials of the neurotransmitters. Therefore, if the field of neurofeedback is to reach it's greatest potential a comprehensive model of this neurotransmitter-EEG-neurofeedback relationship, must be developed and in this area we are the pioneers.
Our nervous system influences how we think, feel and act, as well as how the rest of our body functions. We believe the function of the central nervous system, including a balance of neurotransmitters, plays an essential and central role in the health of all body systems. We combine Neurotransmitter testing and analysis, along with natural methods and specific supplement formulas to adjust poor neurotransmitter function.
Do you experience:
  • Stress
  • Low Mood or mood swings
  • Anxious, irritability, agitation, tension, panic attacks
  • Difficulty concentrating, focusing or remembering
  • Sleep disturbances, sleep difficulties
  • Headaches
  • Fatigue, lack of energy
  • Weight issues, food cravings
Then your body's stress response system is dysfunctional. It is a physical problem interconnected with your emotional issues. The brain chemicals that help us to respond to stress appropriately can be in limited supply due to diet, stress, exposure to toxins, and/or genetics. We test the level of your brain chemicals, called neurotransmitters, and then suggest all natural ways to restore your balance.
