The biggest differences are going to be the performance of the longer irons, and the behavior of a bladed shot. I purchased G20 irons a couple of years ago but have not been satisfied with my hitting of the 5 iron. He just sat there with a bewildered look on his face, then said “WOW, I’ve got to get me one of these”. I have only played a few rounds with this club and have not found it as easy to hit, or as forgiving as I’d hoped. I have the G15 and love it. BaldTexan 63 years old. And if you’re wanting to sus out all options I’d consider Nike drivers as well

But like the guy a few replies above, I do tend to hook it more than I like. Have a look cgossfield u- tube. I always shake and take off my hat and never wear a hat indoors. Not trying to be funny. I think they are one of the best “transitional” irons, and can be played by a wide range of golfers, but they definitely are more punishing on bad days. Plus, with the new direction they are going with crossrield hybrids, they dont make them like that anymore!. Sure, you could get used to them.


Very pleased with club-more confident with it as it is easier to hit than low iron. Couldn’t get along with them. Perfect for my skill level. Great value membership too, if you’re looking for club membership somewhere Clearly rarely been used.

I feel left out. I’m currently playing the Ping G25 4-PW irons. Boss let us cut out after lunch today – moseying round the course right now: My long approach shots have improved to the point that if the result is not on the green, its very close to it.
